(ILPI) operates a warehouse facility licensed by the Bureau of Customs (BOC), to import, receive, and store, raw materials, spare parts, supplies, accessories and packaging materials for the account of its accredited members for manufacture into finished products for export.

SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL BENEFITS

The imported articles are covered by sufficient warehousing bonds to guarantee re-exportation and/or payment of duties and taxes.

NO DUTIES AND TAXES ARE COLLECTED

If the articles withdrawn are manufactured into finished products and re-exported within nine (9) months to a maximum period of one (1) year.

DEFERRED PAYMENT SCHEME

Most companies are required to pay the duties and taxes immediately upon receiving the goods into their warehouse even though it would take months to sell or process the said goods. Through customs bonded warehousing, duties and taxes shall be assessed only upon withdrawal of the goods when the same is utilized either for domestic consumption or for processing into finished products for export. As such, clients/ end-users would be able to maximize the utilization of their resources (cash or liquid assets) that would have not been available had it been used to pay immediately the duties and taxes or the unutilized inventory which, in effect would maximize production.

EXPEDITED CUSTOMS CLEARANCE PROCESSING

ILPI facilitates the faster and more efficient processing of the customs clearance of bonded goods destined for the accredited client/ end-users through our accredited customs brokers.

CENTRALIZED RECORDING AND ACCOUNTING OF ALL IMPORTATIONS AND BONDED CHARGES

AUTHORITY TO IMPORT

Accredited clients/end-users have the authority to import bonded goods for MANUFACTURING into finished products for export.

ACCREDITED CLIENT/ END-USERS MAY UTILIZE THE CUSTOMS BONDED WAREHOUSE AS FOLLOWS:

  • Bonded to Bonded Transfer
  • Bonded to PEZA
  • FOR STORING OWN IMPORTATIONS
  • Repacking
  • Distribution

FOR STORAGE OF CARGOES INTENDED FOR:
